Volunteering at LifeBuilders Detroit

On Saturday, May 17th, 16 volunteers consisting of Gordon employees, friends and family, spent the day at LifeBuilders working on a home on the eastside of Detroit. Some of us worked outside clearing out the backyard of overgrown trees and shrubs while others worked on the front flower beds & porch. We also had a crew in the house giving the rooms a fresh coat of paint. We were grateful that the rain held off! It was fun working with everyone for such a great cause. LifeBuilders will put a needy family in the house once it is completed.
