Gary M. Vandeputte, CPA joined Tobias, Vandeputte & Skulsky, P.C. in 1978, after 8 short years Gary became a shareholder in their firm. Gary is now a principal with Gordon Advisors after the merger of Tobias, Vandeputte & Skulsky in July of 2018.
Gary’s primary responsibilities revolve around the representation of closely held businesses, their owners, and their owners’ families. These duties include tax advisory services, internal accounting work, and auditing oversight. Gary has worked with numerous industries including real estate, professional services, and tax-exempt organizations.
Gary holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) degree from Eastern Michigan University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is also a member of the AICPA and the MICPA.
When he’s not at the office, you can usually find Gary spending time with his wife Lisa and their three sons, Brian, Kevin, and Steven.
Gary is an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Utica, and is also an enthusiastic golfer. In fact, if you’re ever looking for a “fourth”, give him a call!
