- Develop and prepare the audit strategy and manage budgets.
- Provide various assurance and consulting services to our clients and offer solutions for complex issues and problems.
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge regarding relevant regulations, current business practices and industry trends.
- Responsible for resolving accounting, auditing, and other issues that arise during the audit process.
- Perform effective risk and control assessments/analysis.
- Provide exceptional client service, develop deep client relationships, maintain high client satisfaction, and become a trusted advisor.
- Supervise, delegate and develop audit team members.
- Generate new business and cross selling leads with existing clients.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or other related field
- CPA licensure
- 5+ years of relevant audit experience
- In-depth understanding of auditing and control practices, methodologies, and techniques
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership, staff development and management skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CCH Axcess, FX Engagement, and QuickBooks a plus

- Completed at least 1st semester junior year

- Successfully passed Intermediate Financial Accounting by start of internship

- Perform End of Month and Year End close processes
- Research, troubleshoot, and provide recommendations for clients regarding accounting issues
- Minimum of 5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Associate in Accounting degree or equivalent experience
- Strong experience in QuickBooks
- Professional presentation and conduct
- Must be responsible, self-managed, and have excellent follow-up skills
- Able to travel to local client locations
- Knowledge of corporate tax payments and filings is a plus
