Mark J. Wolak, CPA, CGMA, CMA joined Tobias, Vandeputte & Skulsky in 1999 and became a shareholder in 2010. His background includes over 12 years private accounting experience with a plastic laminate distributor and a plastic injection manufacturing company. Mark continues as a shareholder with Gordon Advisors after Tobias, Vandeputte & Skulsky merged with Gordon Advisors in July of 2018.

Mark has broad experience with a variety of industries, including wholesalers, manufacturing, professional services firms, and not-for profit organizations. Mark is responsible for the accounting and tax services for the companies we represent and provides tax planning and preparation for individuals.

Holding a Bachelor of Accountancy from Walsh College of Accountancy and Business Administration, Mark is also a Certified Public Accountant, Chartered Global Management Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, and a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. He is a member of the AICPA and the MICPA

Born in Detroit and raised in Clinton Township, Mark has been married to Shelly for 39 years and has two daughters: Ashley and Megan and a grandson Austin.

Outside the office, Mark enjoys golf, martial arts, reading, home improvements, and vacationing with family and friends.
